Lorenzo Exceptional psych / prog mixed with math rock from Cleveland. The guitars on this album are just perfect, and the songs get stuck in your head so easily. The bouncy nature of this album, combined with the lyrics make it very endearing.

Steve Scibilia I bought this record because I’ve been following the “Cincy/Ohio” scene and there is great music coming out of it. This is one of the best records in the past year that I have picked up. The music is great and the guitar playing is excellent. Sometimes pop, sometimes psychedelic. The odd time signature stuff is super cool. If you’re on the fence.....just buy it!!! Support these guys!!

Comin' home / How are you? Drunk? Lonesome? / Or peeling the names all off the mailbox / Fuck it, I'm racing to the west side / It's gonna be a good night / She seems brilliant, with hips times a billion, oooo / Solid, salty, soft / I feel the hand comin' down, inside this claw machine / Never got my just desserts, and they're coming for me instead
2.
Spiral love in my life - have I cycled back around? / And if I have, what's parallel to where I am right now, right now / I finally got you on the highway, little shoe is on the gas / And as the sun is rising, you're accelerating still / Still over the horizon, over the horizon / Over it - I hope you will come / Take a right on 140th, then you'll make a left / I'll be the one who hasn't rested atop his bed all year - it's true / Please, please make your break when traffic lights still flash only yellow / I know your dream is powerful, like red and green and gold, and our old lives are over the horizon / Over the horizon / Over it - I know we can / Drive all night toward a gradient sky / Or whatever, or however, because it doesn't matter to me Yes, I love the sound of distant bells / And I already feel better with your flavor in my mouth, as faraway sounds still dance around in my room / As the silvery light from the moon over Parma comes and comforts me at night, as I lie awake in bed, disappointed again / Distant bells, yes I already feel better with your flavor in my mouth, as faraway sounds still bounce around in my ear

Rocket Pop 06:51
Wonder what it's gonna feel like when this next summer comes / Will it be “I love it” or just more humiliation? / Writing this in hopes that it will never self-fulfill / Is it secret power or is it too hard to tell? / Laughing in the mirror, I feel like the millionaire that won a pile of money but then spent every red cent / Writing this in hopes that it will never self-fulfill / Is it secret power or is it too hard to tell?
4.
Box Wine 05:01
Smashing lightbulbs, drunk by the dumpster behind work on Saturday morning / Yes sir, I know how much things can change without warning, Saturday morning / The sun is very bright, but it's very cold outside / I've got those distinct rose pedals for eyes / Yes, I'm realizing almost all my time is spent trying to make money or love / These are my magic words, this is my magic pen / I wonder just how far this ink will stretch / While I still have time, I am gonna start writing about winning again and again / I saw your name out there, somewhere, on something again / I wondered if you still existed / Do you still round-robin with brown bourbon? / You made it angelic and effortless to live
5.
6.
Marzipan 04:21
I wanna love you, but I haven't got a clue how to / You're right - I pantomimed finally getting through / I stumble words across this darkest parking lot with you / Get in, get drunk again, and I dream it through / I dream it through
7.
Black Forest 05:40
You really know how to party, and each time you step outside your body / And each time, you think how you were born into solid form, but looking in the mirror - the substance is gone / And this is not a bad dream - it's still inside your head, it's 2033 / So where did all that time go, Michael? / Man, you really know how to party! / And each time, you step outside your body / And each time, you think how you were born into solid form, but looking in the mirror - the substance is gone / And this is not a bad dream - it's still inside your head, it's 2033!
8.
Yes, I'm an animal, and I'm not afraid for you to know / 'Cause I never cared much for what people thought / I watch the world and it shuffles / I drank a bunch of Red Bulls, mixed with wine / Is it really just lashing out at a nasty world if I am just as evil? / I've said and done things so untrue, and I've turned my back to horror / Is it too late for me to fix these things? / I guess it's too bad if I'm fucked up and can't change it / Am I out of time? / I feel fine

about

Kitschy Ohio

Exuberant swells of jubilation are chocolate-chipped with smoky ripples of longing and confession. Kitschy stacks the listener up and melts them back down, only to begin from the bottom again.
